“Sinterklaas” has gone back home to Spain and Christmas is just around the corner. Therefore, in the appendix an old Christmas song, which I found in an edition of the English Lute Society (114 Early to Intermediate Pieces) edited by John Robinson. In it it is mentioned as ‘Wo solstu doch mein liebtes seijn’ After proofreading the manuscript, which is digitally available, from the Sächsische Landesbibliothek in Dresden, I have maintained the adjustments/corrections in bars 53-55 that John Robinson has made: the third tablature letter of the relevant sizes is originally written as d. He may have this from another source, which I have not been able to see. I have read the title as: Wo solstu doch mein liebgen seijn. On the cover of the manuscript are some letters, possibly initials, and the year 1603. The lyrics of the Christmas song are in several sources. I have used the first verse from a version from Brussels from 1621. The 7th choir is an F. It can be played almost anywhere as a separate 4th choir.
